Your character is the most important part of you. That’s why this fall in our Character Counts Spiritual Growth Campaign, we’re inviting you to be part of an 11-week Growth Group journey through the Fruit of the Spirit — the very qualities that make us more like Jesus.  

With close to 40 new  groups (a few have already closed!) to choose from, there’s a place for you! Don’t miss this chance to strengthen your faith, build Godly character, and meet new friends.

Here's what you can expect in a Growth Group this fall:

  • EASY-TO-KEEP COMMITMENT: Enjoy a power-packed Growth Group with 15-20 other people like you once a week for 11 weeks (now through Dec 15).

  • GROUPS TO MEET YOUR NEEDS: There are both In-Person Groups and Online Groups that will meet almost every night of the week.  

  • FIND YOUR PEOPLE: The best way to grow is together! In a Growth Group, you’ll build friendships, laugh, and encourage each other in faith.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Is there a group that’s right for me?
There are a variety of groups that meet at different times and almost every day of the week, so there's definitely a group that is right for you.  And you'll have the opportunity to meet others who share your experiences and are going through similar things as you right now.

Do I need to buy a book or study guide?
No... we want you to be in a Fall Growth Group so much that everyone who signs up for a Fall Character Counts Growth Group will receive a FREE copy of the book, Bearing Spiritual Fruit in the Power of the Spirit.

What happens when I sign up?
When you sign up, the leader(s) of your Growth Group will contact you and introduce themselves and provide the date, time and location of your group, along with any additional info you’ll need to have a great experience.

When will my group meet?
Your Group will meet once a week for 60 to 75 minutes for 11 weeks. It’s a short-term commitment but the positive impact on your life will be long-term. There are both in-person and online group options available.

What will the people in my group be like?
Growth Groups are made up of people who attend The Journey  every week. There is great diversity in our church - which makes our Growth Groups so much fun!  You'll meet some new people as well as probably reconnect with others you met at a Journey service or event.  Growth Groups are a safe and fun way to connect with others and meet some wonderful people!
