The Above & Beyond Special Offering is a call to sacrificial giving with a goal of $247,000 to fund four vitally important ministry and mission areas in our church for 2026:

The Purposes of the Above & Beyond Special Offering
Above & Beyond for our WORLD...
- Supporting over 6,800 global and North American missionaries serving in 155 countries, and partnering to start new churches globally.
- Continuing to support our mission partnership to help children who have been impacted by extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS through Hope Christian Schools in East London, South Africa.
- Partnering with Moscow Christian Seminary in Russia to train new pastors and missionaries to reach the former nations of the Soviet Union with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Above & Beyond for our CITY...
- Reaching the 8.5 million people of NYC with the Gospel of Jesus through Servant Evangelism (showing God's love in a practical way) and other creative outreaches throughout our city.
- Providing for our 2026 Easter outreach & promotion.
- Meeting the spiritual & physical needs of the less fortunate & homeless in NYC through Inner-City & Community Ministry (including Graffiti Community Ministries & the Relief Bus).
- Providing for meaningful Christmas gifts for the over 7,500 inmates at Rikers Island Prison.
Above & Beyond for our CHURCH...
- Funding the 2026 Benevolence and Counseling Ministry to assist those in our church who are in crisis and in need of immediate support.
- Funding improvements and upgrades in our Journey Kidz and Youth Ministry areas as we up our investment in the next generation.
- Funding The NExT Initiative. A portion of Above & Beyond will be designated to The NExT Initiative with the goal of securing the future of our church by providing a permanent ministry and worship center in NYC.
Above & Beyond for our COUNTRY...
- Reaching beyond our city into Los Angeles, California to continue our partnership with Harvest Home LA to provide safety and shelter for pregnant women escaping domestic abuse.

Why Now?
The Journey Church began as a church here in New York City in 2002. As we reflect on all that God has done in and through our church – including over 3,800 baptisms, countless lives changed, thousands of needs met and millions of people shown God’s love in meaningful ways – it is time to dream big about what God might have in store in 2026.
If not now, when? God has blessed our church and we have grown spiritually and numerically. Now is the time to dream big dreams and to begin preparing The Journey for ministry in NYC for generations to come.
