Fall Growth Groups are groups of 15-20 people that will meet for about an hour once a week this fall to study the Bible, meet people, and have fun.

This fall our entire church will be studying Pastor Nelson's new book, "Breakthrough: Discovering God's Power for Your Problems".  And you're invited to join.  Here are just a few of the benefits you'll find...

Did you know there’s a word for facing one problem after another? That word is: life! Life’s problems are inevitable, often catching us off guard and feeling insurmountable.

But here’s the good news: God is always ready to strengthen you in your struggles, guide you through your challenges, and draw you closer to Him. You’re invited to join a Fall Growth Group where you will discover a clear biblical process to breakthrough the problems that you are facing.
Everyone who signs up for a Fall Growth Group will receive a FREE Spiritual Growth Kit on Sunday during the Breakthrough teaching series at the 10:00am or 11:30am service!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

What is a growth group?
Growth Groups are The Journey’s groups of 15 to 20 people that will be meeting both In-Person and Online via Zoom to learn more about the Bible, grow in their faith, and meet some great new friends.

Is there a group that’s right for me?
There are 40 groups to choose from this Fall. There are a variety of groups that meet at different times and almost every day of the week, so you’ll have the chance to find the group that is right for you. And you'll have the opportunity to meet others who share your experiences and are going through similar things as you right now.

Do I need to buy a book or study guide?
No, it will be provided. Everyone who signs up for a Fall Growth Group will receive a Spiritual Growth Kit by attending the in-person service on Sunday, October 6 at our10:00am or 11:30am service. The kit will include: your Growth Group study book, Breakthrough: Discovering God's Power for My Problems, an in-depth Breakthrough Discussion Guide that includes key lessons, scriptures and questions for personal reflection, Memory Verse cards for the entire Breakthrough series, and a special Breakthrough bookmark.

What happens when I sign up?
When you sign up, the leader of your new Growth Group will contact you and introduce themselves and provide the link for your group's online meeting or details for your in-person meeting location, the date and time you’ll be starting, and all the other information you’ll need to have a great experience.

When will my group meet?
Our Growth Groups meet once a week, and each meeting is just 60 to 75 minutes long. Groups meet 10-12 times over the semester. It’s a short-term commitment but the positive impact on your life will be long-term.

What will the people in my group be like?
Growth Groups are made up of people who attend The Journey  every week. There is great diversity in our church - which makes our Growth Groups so much fun! You'll meet some new people as well as probably reconnect with others you met at a Journey service or event. Growth Groups are a safe and fun way to connect with others and meet some wonderful people!
