Journey Kidz is one of the most fun and rewarding ministries at The Journey. Through lessons, games, crafts, and conversations, you'll help introduce children to the love of God and build a spiritual foundation for their future.

There is a place for YOU on our team! And serve one Sunday a month...or as many as you like!

Check-In

Welcome & greet our families as they arrive & check-in their child.

Monkeys

Play with babies birth - 2 years & demonstrate God's unconditional love.

Zebras

Teach children 3 years - Kindergarten about Jesus through crafts & games.

Lions

Help children in 1st - 5th grade develop a deeper understanding of God.

in a Godly way. We have a great impact on each child's life - but not nearly as significant as their own parent.

Someone who likes making church fun, engaging, and memorable as children learn about God and grow.

Someone who has a heart for kids and wants to make sure classrooms are setup.

What you need to know about serving in Journey Kidz:

✔ All Journey Kidz volunteers complete a background check
✔ Classroom volunteers must be members of The Journey Church or willing to attend the next Membership Class
✔ You don't need the gift of teaching—we provide the lesson plan, and training
✔ You'll serve alongside other volunteers and never be on your own
✔ You won't serve every week—you'll provide your availability and we'll build the
schedule around it
✔ Most volunteers serve one service and attend the other
