The Promise of Presence

In the Old Testament, the Ark of the Covenant represented God’s presence among His people. And God’s presence gave them the courage to face their enemies. Because of Jesus and His death, burial, and resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit – we don’t need the Ark of the Covenant to have God with us. We can have God’s presence with us at all times through our faith in Jesus Christ. And God’s presence gives us the courage we need to face our biggest fears and deal with our biggest worries.
